Past Events
Over the past five years, the Spratley NJHS has completed numerous service projects to give back to the community and world.
These service projects include:
Fall/Winter/Spring Clothing Drive - All collected items were donated to a local homeless shelter.
Toys for Tots Drive - Students and staff collected toys to donate to less fortunate students for the holiday season.
Holiday Cards for Veteran's - Students made Holiday cards to send to soldiers and veteran's.
Cards for Teacher Appreciation Week - Students made cards for the Spratley staff to help them feel appreciated.
Pasta for Pennies - Students raised money to donate to the leukemia and lymphoma society through student series.

Walk-A-Thon - students got sponsors and walked to raise money various charities

2018 - students raised and donated $1935.89

Upcoming Events
WALK - A - THON
The Walk-A-Thon is the largest event the NJHS hosts each year. Anyone can participate by getting a sponsor sheet and finding people to sponsor the student by providing either single donations or donations per lap to the student. Students will be able to select what charity to donate to from a given list.

The Toys for Tots drive is held to collect toys for less fortunate kids during the holiday season.

Pasta for pennies
Pasta for Pennies part of the Student Series through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Students raise money in their homerooms to donate to LLS over a three week period. The homeroom that raises the most money wins an Olive Garden pasta party. Top students, homerooms, and schools in Virginia can also earn other prizes.
